This narrative still life painting is inspired by halloween season, I thought about the beauty of life, and its appreciation. I made a mockery of the skull growing bananas out of its head and trying to savor the taste of an apple in vain. One must get a taste of life while we are still alive, it's only for the living.
My art is a place, a moment, an emotion, a story, a history, a time in my art in my heart and when I am making art, I am in my safe haven.
