This is one of those paintings I saw in my mind and painted, it means whatever you want it to.
This piece pops in person and is a nice scale to fit into odd places while still making an impact. It is predominantly black and white and there is an acrylic and gel medium opeque color wash over the horses. Media used - Artelier interractive acrylic, extender medium and gel medium,
My name is Nayana, I am an artist in my mid 30's from Massachusetts. I have been an artist my entire life and attended Mass College of Art in Boston for fine art photography. After leaving school for economic hardship and general life struggles I began focusing more on painting. My first exhibition was in a group show in Edinburg Scotland when I was 14 years old. Since then I have participated in solo and group exhibitions all over the world including Spain, South Africa, Portugal, and many more. I have also been included in exhibitions both solo and group in cities and towns across the US including a large and lengthy solo exhibition in New York City. I was a finalist in an art competition in which I was awarded a period of time on a billboard in Times Square. I have written articles on art for several well respected publications and several lesser known. And recently I have survived a bone marrow transplant and am happy to say in remission from Leukemia. visit my website at nayanaarts.com
