New York City is not alive without yellow cabs, at least in my mind:) The reflections on the rainy streets, people getting in and out off the cabs, honking and overall commotion of the busy street... This was painted using the contrast of palette knife and the more transparent application of oils. It is a very charming piece...
Whatever your taste is, my paintings will brighten your home as well as gives you a pleasure not to mention a smile.

I was raised in the cold climate of Leningrad, a former Soviet Union. I love snow, big cities, rain and city noises... I create my impressions of streets and people... I have lived in Vienna, Austria, Paris, Boston, and New York. Each painting is breathing the air of that city. I use primarily oil paint, brushes and a palette knife... The collection you are going to see here, are smaller pieces that are very affordable and also easy to frame. I will accommodate any requests in regards to sizes, themes, and shipping methods.
