As I have been walking around and participating in the activity of daily life, I have been seeing the atmosphere change in the spiritual realm everywhere I go.

I have been amazed when I really look. The authority we carry to change the atmosphere is because of Jesus living in us - This atmosphere is turbulent, always advancing. As the atmosphere changes, it is not orderly like an earthly military invasion. It is chaotic and tumbling bringing with it the goodness of God, holiness, joy, healing, His Presence, deliverance, and freedom. It’s on the move forcing darkness to leave.

I saw that the atmosphere of the King is lined with the blood of Jesus. This is the precursor - it is what buffets the darkness to make room for the shift in the atmosphere. Wherever we go, we are like boats slicing through the water creating wakes. It’s the same in the spiritual realm.

Nathan Rhoads is an artist working in Portland, Oregon. He earned his BFA in 1998 from Point Loma Nazarene University. His primary medium of choice is oil. Nathan's work ranges from abstract to representational. He is a live painter, creating beautiful works of art on the spot at events. He takes on a lot of commissioned projects too, and lately, has been painting beautiful pet portraits. The spirit realm is his muse. Most of his work deals with the spirit realm whether it be representational or abstract in nature. When not painting, he spends time with his 2 boys and dog exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. His favorite art quote is from Chuck Close: "Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work."
