An abstract landscape, using a poem as reference for Donald Jurney's the poetry of place.
The greatness of art is not in the display of knowledge, or in material accuracy, but in the distinctness with which it conveys the impressions of a personal vital force, that acts spontaneously, without fear or hesitation. (George Inness)
American artist from Fort Worth Texas, of dutch, and Irish heritage, with a focus on traditional tonalism landscapes. I'm infectiously drawn to tonal paintings for their absolute simplicity, and across the room conspicuousness. Most of my work is produced at home from imagination, and abstraction. While attempting to create a mood with lighting, and composition to symbolize the beauty, and great peace of nature. When I'm not painting, I'm a full time train conductor for the Fort Worth & Western Railroad! Instagram @nategradyart @nategrady My Brand @ogradaco ogradaco.com
