Intense, mysterious, loyal, and unyielding. The 8th sign of the zodiac is independent, fiercely determined, and able to accomplish anything they put their mind to. Below the cool, relaxed exterior lies an intense passion and strong will. While tending to shy away from the center of attention one can be assured that the Scorpio is maintaining influence and control from the shadows. This painting is not framed but the sides of the canvas are painted so a frame is not required. It can simply be hung on the wall as is with a small trim nail. It is coated with a gloss finish varnish. This painting was completed on November 22, 2014. And yes, I am a Scorpio.
You know those little sketches that people create mindlessly during boring meetings? I paint those. Just like you see kittens in clouds or Elvis in a potato chip, I see images in my doodles. It's called pareidolia (that's your word of the day). I find it quite interesting how a random collection of lines can turn into a petrified cowboy, ie. Eternal Sunset. So I tend to work on the abstract and surreal spectrum of painting since doodles are rarely realistic. Like pretty much every artist ever, I've had a passion for art ever since I can remember. But rather than go to art school I became a mechanical engineer since it promised a much more stable economic future. And it did just that while at the same time allowing me to pursue painting. In between paintings I spend my time reading art books and blogs, watching Youtube videos, and watching reruns of Bob Ross to grow my artistic talents.
