In this piece I am playing around with the idea of mixing nature with our human existence. How do we relate and how do we interact with one another. If we strip ourselves down can we really live in complete harmony with one another?

I have always loved creating, no matter what form or medium, but my favorite is painting. My early inspiration was italian architecture and quickly moved to my loved ones. I enjoyed painting my family and friends throughout my college Art career. I have more recently been drawn to more natural elements, and our interaction with these elements as a human race. My 7 year old son recently was commenting on how humans are not natural. We effect all of nature around us all the time, and usually in a very destructive way. I like to think about those interactions, and I am trying to visually find harmony among our influences. I long for us as humans to become more natural. I hope for a day when we all work in harmony with the natural elements all around us.
