Lilac is another symbol of childhood for me. My grandmother used to have a few lilac trees in her garden. Every year i would spend my spring break with her and we would cut a few brunches and bring them inside the house to fill it with lilac's sweet and fresh scent. and so this tree became a symbol of warmth, love and nonchalance
Born in Russia, in 1989, moved to NY in 2012 at the age of 23. Always had a huge interest in art, but never tried creating myself until 2015 when simply out of curiosity I bought a few brushes, primary oil paint set and some canveses. And from the very first piece I realized that painting will soon become a huge part of my life. And so it did. Ever since then i've been spending majority of my free time painting, specializing mostly in small size pieces which became my big passion. A year after I discovered my talent I organized my first colaborative exhibition, named "Backstage: studies of solitude", which took place in Brooklyn, NY and featured 10 female artists including myself. The show was a great success and gave me strength and inspiration for a decision to persue art as my career. So here I am! P.s.: more shows coming soon!
