Ready to Hang
Whatever is tangled or layered captures my imagination. Branches, vines, grasses...
I love creating contradictory impulses - approaching and withdrawing, overlapping and pulling apart.
The vines in this painting are in various shades of browns on a light background- and almost appear to dance as they move in and out of the space.
This piece is painted on all the edges on 1.5 inch deep wrapped canvas, and can be hung without a frame.
