A fictional industrial environment- perhaps even somewhat toxic?
My process often creates contradictory impulses - approaching and withdrawing, overlapping and pulling apart, density and lightness, beauty and menace.
This tangled urban landscape almost challenges the viewer to climb in and make their way to the structures in the background. The soft pastel used in the sky makes a particularly striking contrast.
I always promptly ship my work well-protected in sturdy mailing tubes.
