Whatever is tangled or layered captures my imagination. Branches, vines, grasses...
I love creating contradictory impulses -
This piece was done outdoors while I was living in eastern Washington near the Canadian border. I love pastels because of their immediacy and many layers, and often work on toned paper to make the color even richer.
I'll ship it well-protected and flat- ready for you to mat and frame to your taste.
