Ready to Hang
During the winter, I would have amaryllis bulbs growing in the studio.
This is one of two small paintings I made while the bulbs were just starting to sprout their leaves. (they Do make a nice pair!) The greens stand out against the brown, grey/brown background, and the thread of red seemed like a nice accent to place in the space.
