Painting isn't all rainbows and unicorns. At times it can be very frustrating and discouraging. Sometimes things get weird. But through the trials and tribulations you must stay true to yourself and your passion. I thought I f-Ed this one up bad so I smeared the hell out of it and slung some paint on it. It is my first ever self portrait attempt and it reflects my anxiety to be a perfectionist and throwing a fit when things don't go perfectly. Self portrait. No brushes.

My name is Eric "Mobe" Bass. I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Now, reside in beautiful Ormond Beach, Florida. I am 28 years old. I live with my beautiful wife Anna and our Boston terrier Otis. I have been a full time artist for 5years. Mostly, working on large scale murals and company commissions. Now that I am living by the beach and have some time, I want to focus my attention on my gallery works. I've worked really hard, day and night, to become the artist I am today. I am self taught, so I go the extra mile to impress.
