Totally different from the artist normal style, he attempts to depict the idea of self medicating with laughter rather than substances. The act of self-medicating occurs when you turn to drugs or alcohol as a way to deal with tough issues. Instead of reaching for a beer when your feeling stressed or have had a hard day, have a laugh. He used a pop culture icon as a reminder that laughing is a more effective and healthy treatment for a depressing or stressful situation than any substance.

My name is Eric "Mobe" Bass. I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Now, reside in beautiful Ormond Beach, Florida. I am 28 years old. I live with my beautiful wife Anna and our Boston terrier Otis. I have been a full time artist for 5years. Mostly, working on large scale murals and company commissions. Now that I am living by the beach and have some time, I want to focus my attention on my gallery works. I've worked really hard, day and night, to become the artist I am today. I am self taught, so I go the extra mile to impress.
