This piece is in a series of painting about horsesand this was created utilizing powerful strokes with a palette knife and various sized brushes.
Born in Lima, Peru. She began to demonstrate a love for the Arts at a very young age and won her first art contest which was a great motivator for her and years later she focused her goals to become an “Artist” She studied at National Academy of Fine Arts where she learned different techniques and textures which enable her to create unique works of art. Her broad range of work varies from realism to abstracts. The versatility of her painting arises from her everlasting desire to explore conceptions, forms, ideas and to translate these into her work. Her paintings have a magical and mystical feel which reflects her own nature and brings them to life through her broad strong brush strokes and the use of a palette knife. She moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2001 and studied English and Art at the College of San Mateo where she graduated with Honors in Fine Arts. She has also participated in workshops with the famous Russian painter Alexander Zimic. She is an Artist who through her paintings visualizes emotions, love and passion which are her challenges. She is a member of the ASPAP (Asociacion de Artistas Plasticos del Peru), the SCFAA in San Carlos, Ca.n Society of Western Artists, Sequoia Art Group and the Redwood City Arts Center. Her paintings are in private collections throughout Europe, America and Latin America.
