Four squid who share a pension for flight cruise over an imagined skyline. Several smaller friends accompany them. A lyrical mixed media painting depicting an imaginary world where flight is open to many life forms.

Ocean tides like waves of the imagination bring unexpected discoveries and possibilities. In these whimsical collage I like to suggest realms where anything is possible. What if elephants, turtles and squid could fly? Might they not cruise the skies of a city, tumble through clouds and ride the winds? I enjoy the playfulness of the compositions and combining black and white imagery with the sensuous designs of Japanese paper. My mixed media abstract paintings explore accidental procedure and working with nature to effect changes in acrylic paint and mediums. I've been a professional artist since 2004 and show my work in national exhibitions, corporate collections and galleries.
