I'm fascinated with Greek mythology, especially the story of Medusa. She is almost always pictured as an angry and miserable woman waiting to turn to stone anyone who dares look into her eyes. I wanted to portray her has a fun loving girl who finally got the chance to go on Spring Break and lay on the beach and sun bathe.
((This piece is actually four smaller canvases put together. They can hang freely or can be glued together, whatever your preference.))
I kinda like to paint. I believe art is a significant part of being...actually just stop reading this and buy my stuff. Or at least look at it and remember, because let's be honest, it'll be on someone else's wall sooner than you think and when they happen to invite you to a fancy dinner party at their house you'll see it there and think, wow, I should have bought that painting! Then you'll probably spill wine all over your clothes and drip some on the carpet. Unfortunately nobody has a Tide to-go pen because they all left it in their OTHER purse, and we don't want that now do we?
