This is an original oil painting done on a special kind of paper made for oils. It has the same look and feel as thick watercolor paper. This piece will require a frame, but glass is not necessary as oils need room to breathe.

I am a Houston, TX based artist. My paintings revolve around themes of the mind and body, plants/nature, and expressive abstraction. I am always trying out new mediums but I mostly use oil paint, watercolors, gouache, and alcohol ink. I received my Bachelors degrees in both Painting and Photography in May 2010, and I completed my Masters in Painting at the San Francisco Art Institute in May 2012. Creating is a necessity for me, and I don't know who I would be without it. I crave that artistic release. I love connecting with people through my art, because each piece I create is a little part of me. I hope you like what you see, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out!
