The reason I chose the title for this piece is the prominently featured bunny doll face.
I created this piece around Easter weekend, 2015.
My inspiration in creating this piece is my love of color, carnivals, and mixed medial art. I like to think of my creations as living in a place where cute meets creepy.
The foundation of this piece is a vintage wood plaque I found at a thrift store. I painted the wood plaque with bright blue acrylic paint, and added a vintage medical diagram for the bunny's body. The ears are hand cut and flocked paper, edged with mini red pom pom trim. To finish the piece, I glued colorful pom poms along the edge of the wood.
My name is Melissa Stewart. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio.
