Living on the beach you hear a lot about rip currents, this year more than ever. This piece represents those beautiful, sunny days you want to spend in ocean waters but can't because of rip current warnings.
Like most artists I have been doing art since I was a child. I was inspired by my Grandma who held ceramic classes in her house. I graduated from the State College of New York at Oneonta where I received my Bachelors Degree with a major in Computer Art. Since graduating college I moved down south to live the dream life by the beach. After a few years of doing freelance work I decided to continue my education and get my Masters in Teaching degree from Coastal Carolina University. I graduated with my M.A.T. degree in August 2017. I now teach art to an amazing group of 6th through 12th graders. I am in the beginning of my artistic career. I balance my teaching career with my desire to be a professional artist. My passions in life include art and travel and I plan to combine those two passions in the near future.
