Ready to Hang

Beautiful abstract painting created using mica powders and resin poured onto wooden surface and allowed to flow and blend into their own interesting patterns. Once completely dry, the piece was then coated with another layer of resin to protect and enhance. The colors are soft gray, white and a lovely burnt orange yet subtle enough to go with any décor. This painting is framed with a natural wood frame that is actually part of the painted surface. This would be a real conversation piece in your home or office. Ready to hang.

My name is Mary Kay Holladay. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I am a self-taught abstract artist. I love color! I enjoy seeing how different colors work together to give something entirely new and exciting. I started out doing representational art but a few years ago I decided to try my hand with abstract. It was so liberating that I now do no other type of art. I have found working with acrylics works well with this style. I hope you enjoy my work.
