Ready to Hang
Large two panel painting done in burnt orange, soft yellow and black. This piece also has some texture giving another source of interest for the viewer. The title comes from the small red flower peeking out from the darkness, as a sense of new life and hope. The two panels are 18x24 giving a width (when place up against each other) of 36x24. I suggest hanging the panels two inches apart resulting in a span of 38x24 on your wall. The sides are painted black. This really is a beautiful painting that would be perfect in your home or office.
My name is Mary Kay Holladay. I am a Vango artist. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I am a self-taught abstract artist. I love color! I enjoy seeing how different colors work together to give something entirely new and exciting. I started out doing representational art but a few years ago I decided to try my hand with abstract. It was so liberating that I now do no other type of art. I have found working with acrylics works well with this style. I hope you enjoy my work.
