This is a lovely home I pass often in a neighboring town. I always admire the porch and flowers. This year they added a brand new flag, and I had to paint it. I added a Model A Ford in the garage, as I have a soft spot for them. My Dad had one when I grew up, and I have many fond memories of rides in it. Here is one on a bright sunny day, waiting to take you away after you have a glass of lemonade on the porch. Bright sunny days and a welcoming shady porch. Isn't that what summer is about?

I am a self taught artist, living in a small picturesque town in Connecticut. I paint almost daily, in a bedroom turned studio in my home, and listen to the Joe Rogan Experience obsessively while creating my art. I create my art with oil paints, and canvas, and am inspired by almost anything. I think you never stop learning, and work hard to perfect my craft. I like my art to remind me of a beautiful place I have been with my family, or a tree blossoming at an old farmhouse. I basically like cheerful art that takes me to a place, or a beautiful scene. My home is full of art like this, as I believe your home should be your sanctuary, one that fills you with nostalgia and happiness. My painting “Happy Place” won 3rd place in an online contest, and I have also won a blue ribbon for my personal painting of “Ratatouille” and ribbons for other paintings. I’m always grateful when someone spends their hard earned money to purchase one of my paintings, or two, for their own sanctuary, and honored that they welcome my art into their home.
