Ready to Hang

This is an old garage I pass on Route 14 in Foster, Rhode Island. This garage is across the street from a beautiful old home. I just imagined the barn in its glory days, with lots of activity. Groceries being delivered, plants on their way to homes and patriotic flags. There is also a hidden mickey for anyone that likes to look for them. I grew up a mechanics daughter and love looking and painting old cars. Reminds me of watching my dad restore them in his garage. Here are two trucks before they need restoration, new off the lot.

This is framed with a thin, rough, gray wood like the painting "tractoring through the tulips"

Ready to hang on your wall!

I am a self taught artist, living in a small picturesque town in Connecticut. I paint almost daily, in a bedroom turned studio in my home, and listen to the Joe Rogan Experience obsessively while creating my art. I create my art with oil paints, and canvas, and am inspired by almost anything. I think you never stop learning, and work hard to perfect my craft. I like my art to remind me of a beautiful place I have been with my family, or a tree blossoming at an old farmhouse. I basically like cheerful art that takes me to a place, or a beautiful scene. My home is full of art like this, as I believe your home should be your sanctuary, one that fills you with nostalgia and happiness. My painting “Happy Place” won 3rd place in an online contest, and I have also won a blue ribbon for my personal painting of “Ratatouille” and ribbons for other paintings. I’m always grateful when someone spends their hard earned money to purchase one of my paintings, or two, for their own sanctuary, and honored that they welcome my art into their home.
