Ready to Hang
I wanted the viewer to see the scary, the kid and creative in all of us. This piece should inspire a sense of peace with the oversized and monstrous qualities in the beast.
I started taking art lessons and developing my interest in art as a child. My parents placed me with a private artist when I was in 6th grade as a child. That teacher focused on the fundamentals and I remained with her until I entered High School. There I began to learn how to develop my own talent and channel my emotions into something I create. I left school at a point where half my day was spent in a studio. I went on to college to study fine art and refine my talent. I decided to combine my study with psychology and have since been practicing my craft as I find its very much a part of me and my life.
