I live in the south where our swamps/wetlands are disappearing. Wetlands act as a sponge for heavy rain and hurricanes. Without them we are flooded. If we keep building on top of them we loose that protection. Also the wetlands have a diverse ecosystem. They are beautiful.

Maria Kramer is an organic abstract artist based in New Orleans. She finds her inspiration in the wild oak trees and rich organic life around her. Most of her life she worked as a singer in opera and jazz. Now she composes her songs through paint.
