I don't talk much about my paintings. I enjoy painting and tend to paint whatever catches my eye. I particular like being around the water so I will paint water scenes whenever I can. This one appealed to me because of it's color and location.

I had always loved watercolor paintings. So, after I retired I decided to take some classes and see what I could do. While the beginning was at times quite humiliating I did learn to paint in watercolors. I still take classes and continue learn. When I sold my first painting I remember saying "now I can call myself an artist". I love painting and spend a part of each day painting . I paint on vacation and cruises. I have no particular style and paint what appeals to me at the moment. It's fun and challenging. Hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
