The reason I chose the title for this piece is based on the innocence and clueless peace of not realizing a storm is lurking behind us. I wanted to create a strength and beauty in a world without the burden of worry of what storm is headed our way. This piece started as an abstract storm but I felt a need for it to be about how the storm is only the background and might never come.
I have an eye for what works and I work to paint a reflection of the beauty I see with my mind's interpretation. I live and love to create a piece of beauty. I am blown away by color and the endless possibilities to discover. My great Grandfather was one of the first people to own a kodak camera. He was a painter, woodcarver and photographer. I love that I inherited a piece of his soul!
