As an art student I try to get time in to do some life studies. For this piece, I sat in the old music room in my school (which has since then been torn down) and painted the only part of the room that I found interesting, because it showed balance and repetition.

I'm a painting major at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, minoring in illustration. Growing up as a kid, I've always had a strong adoration for art and the process of creating it. It wasn't until halfway through my freshman year of high school that I really found myself getting into it, and wanting to make a career out of it. It hasn't been long, but since then I have dabbled in multiple different mediums, some that I hadn't even heard of as a kid, and found that, although it's fun to use different mediums, my heart lies with paint, specifically oil and acrylic.
