I believe in the impossible; that 'impossible' is what we think of unknown possibilities, as they appear to us when standing in the shadow of our limited perception. = Le'Ruedunfrei.
"Some Painters like to plan. They sketch and design a thoroughly thought-out idea before their pigment ever touches the canvas. I'm not like them. I prefer to dip my brush in the paint -be it whatever color I have left, or whichever I'm drawn to in that moment- and impulsively let it coat the canvas. I like to see where the paint takes me, ask it what it wants to be, with a deeper understanding that I'm really speaking to the invisible string that connects us all, and willing it to reveal the deeper truths we don't know we know. I'm not a photo-realist, I only aim to convey enough to get the observer thinking, and the first observer for each of my pieces is me; it's only fitting." -M.E.
"Creating Art is my way of sharing slivers of my own infinity, of communicating in a language that surpasses both time, and definition; (in fact, one of humanity's first languages to surpass time.) Therefore, (to me) my 'bio' is not a list of where I've been, what I've accomplished, and so on, but the Artwork I've created in more than half of my 31 years. Aloha! My name is Mandy Elliott and I'm a self-taught Vango Artist." -M.E. ______________________ _______________________ [[ All artworks protectively sealed, ready to hang, plus professionally shipped with a certificate of authenticity (CoA), Artist Pamphlet, "Talking About Art is Hard..." greeting card to give insight and talking points about your specific painting(s), and a hand written note from the Artist.
