This piece was inspired by the impoverished parts of America that are known as "Food Deserts". The residents of these areas of the country have access to fast food restaurants as far as the eye can see but have to travel many miles to buy fresh fruit and vegetables.
If I wasn't an artist I would just be my job, my car, my house, my things. Art gives my life purpose, defines who I am, where I've been and where I'm going. Born in Arizona and raised in Northern California, I graduated from the Art Institute of Phoenix majoring in Graphic Design and Animation. I currently live in Phoenix, AZ and work as a Graphic Designer and Freelance Artist.
