My favorite things to paint are all kinds of animals and water.
My favorite colors to use are blues, greens, pinks and purples.
I use all size canvasses, but seem to gravitate to large.
I have a passion for the plight of the critically endangered Mountain Gorilla and am an active contributor to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.
This piece is a troup of gorillas foraging in the jungle with a Silverback bringing up the rear of his group. Lots of greens and purples in this piece.
My name is Lisa Fasulo. I live on an island in Florida where I get to see dolphins, manatees, sharks, parrots, eagles and osprey every day. I have been a lifelong painter, making it my career since I was 13 years old. I started out as a child painting driftwood and wicker baskets and as soon as my first painted basket sold at a local craft fair I knew I was hooked on selling my art. I went on to earn a BA degree in Art from SUNY Cortland in New York. I studied painting and art history in Siena, Italy in the early 80's. After a long career in hand painted clothing, I became a tattoo artist (I even had my own TV show!). After 15 crazy and zany years in the tattoo biz I longed to get back to painting. So here I am! Thank you for visiting my portfolio.
