The reason I chose the title for this piece... (insert reasoning)
I created this piece a little over a year ago while living in California.
My inspiration in creating this piece came after a day spent driving around in wine country when a storm was coming. The clouds were rolling in over the palm trees, rows of vines, and lovely barns dotted everywhere.
This piece was slowly and carefully created by layering hand painted papers, gesso texture, and acrylic paints onto canvas to create a textured effect.
