I enjoy working with the notion of the ephemeral as well as the nostalgic. The ephemerality of emotions and experiences motivates me to think abstractly, and as a product, a lot of my abstract paintings are made.
Nostalgia is another point of departure for my art, as nostalgic notions through the materiality of the media I may choose reflect different moments of my past and my present experiences. In this piece, I am looking at the ephemerality of energy, and using the energy I possess to create spontaneous paintings.
