Ready to Hang
I was inspired to paint this abstract, contemporary work of art from a quote from E. E. Cummings: "A wind has blown the rain away and blown the sky away and all the leaves away, and the trees stand. I think, I too, have known autumn too long." Even without leaves, a single tree or a grove of trees can be a beautiful site. Painted with a light texture and set against a blue sky, the golden feel of fall is captured in this 24" wide x 20" high x 1.5" deep painting. The painting continues around on all the edges and a UV-resistant satin varnish has been applied on the surface. This painting is ready to hang!
