The reason I chose the title for this piece was the content the posters depicted Obama's likeness superimposed on Linclon's face,

I created this piece during his 1st Run for President. It seemed to me an uphill climb for him.

My inspiration in creating this piece was symbolic seeing this woman and her dog starting this uphill climb as well.

UP HILL CLIMB 2010 16X20 FRAMED acrylic on canvas
"Abraham Obama" Posters on wall by guerrilla pop artist Ron English. He fused Lincoln and Obama images and installed posters in several large U S cities.

All of my paintings come with a certificate of authenticity and are signed by me.

I truly love to paint because it feeds my soul. Self taught, and feeling little restraint, I paint in various styles, from my own perspective. The accuracy of my paintings originates from years of working on scale models. I prefer to paint in acrylic for certain subjects but do like the feel of oil and canvas. Currently I live and paint in Ballard, a young, hip district of Seattle Washington. A lot of revitalization has happened in the last decade. I find it easy to tap into the energy.
