Ready to Hang
The reason I chose the title for this piece is because it is a painting of a Fuel Espresso Cup.
I created this piece once I saw it. The color was not typical white. I found this color much more interesting.
My inspiration in creating this piece was to paint a espresso cup from all the coffee houses I frequented in Seattle. They look great on my small kitchen wall in pairs.
This painting comes framed, as pictured, ready to hang with wire and a hinged flap, for displaying on a counter top.
I truly love to paint because it feeds my soul. Self taught, and feeling little restraint, I paint in various styles, from my own perspective. The accuracy of my paintings originates from years of working on scale models. I prefer to paint in acrylic for certain subjects but do like the feel of oil and canvas. Currently I live and paint in Ballard, a young, hip district of Seattle Washington. A lot of revitalization has happened in the last decade. I find it easy to tap into the energy.
