Ready to Hang

Silhouettes of trees along a distant horizon create a calm and rhythmic feel in this black and white diptych. Meant to be hung together, they will grace any room with decorative styles from mid-century through transitional or modern.

My name is Linda Frueh. I am an artist working in encaustic, which is molten beeswax/resin/pigment. It has wonderful sculptural and translucency qualities, and with it I make original paintings and sculptures to grace your living or workspace. If you see something that interests you but would prefer a different size or color scheme, please feel free to contact me. It is especially satisfying to work with a client to create unique works that express your own style! A fascinating property of encaustic is that it can be used to preserve and enhance fragile materials - a special photograph, a handwritten letter, an old map or other mementos that have special meaning for you alone. I am happy to work with you to incorporate your materials into a lasting work of art. Thank you for visiting my portfolio!
