Brief foray into color on color and movement. I used straight and clean color and rotated the canvas to find the next move. I made it a rule to rotate the canvas on every stroke. This was my orange theme.

I've drawn ever since I was little. My Aunt Lenora would set me up at her folding table with a cup of Pentel markers and I was in art heaven. In High School, book covers were covered with the latest band ... Van Halen and Dio were my specialties. In the school art class one piece that comes to mind is of a television with a hand, vines and static projecting out with the text "Technical Difficulties ... please do not adjust your mind". I doodled constantly. After High School I enrolled at the local college to embark on an art career (after exhausting my Golf career) and I was a taken aback by the nude model in my first figure drawing class that I was not altogether expecting. After a period of adjustment the human body emerged from the space -- pure beauty. The lines and the poses and the gestures. My arm began to capture the form. Since that point I have graduated with a degree in Illustration and every day I am at my Auntie Nora's table ... in art heaven!
