This is an abstract painting in which white lines are painted in various geometric shapes which stitch the canvas together like a quilt. Underneath the white lines can be seen various shades of red, brown, and black and thick slashes of thick white paint. The sides of the canvas are painted in red, blue, and yellow. This painting is simple yet constructed beautifully and is very satisfying to look at. It has a toned down monochromatic feel without being completely black and white. It also reads like a flag and is reminiscent of the Jasper Johns' flags.
