Ready to Hang

This painting is composed of layers of lines in thick oil paint and oil bar. It is full of color and movement. The use of oil bar in addition to paint provides a variety of different types of marks and adds depth and interest to the piece. Although containing several bright colors (red, orange, yellow, green), the composition is balanced with dark, light, and neutral tones. I prefer the composition vertical, but it can be hung horizontally depending on the room.
