This oil painting was sourced from a photograph as me as a baby looking in the mirror at my own reflection. The image got me thinking about our earliest conceptions of our selves and our struggle to identify who with our physical body and appearance as well as come up with a concept of who we think we are. This painting is framed in a thin black painted wood.
