This is a painting of a flower done in acrylic and gouache on canvas. The center of the flower is the center of the painting. Brightly colored petals take up the whole image, drawing the eye around the canvas and ultimately towards the center. This was an experiment in painting images that draw the viewer to the center in the vein of mandalas. It's a bright and energetic piece that is really fun to move your eyes across.
