These words of Nicholas Sparks were my inspiration:
“I learned what is obvious to a child. That life is simply a collection of little lives, each lived one day at a time. That each day should be spent finding beauty in flowers and poetry and talking to animals. That day spent with dreaming and sunset and refreshing breezes cannot be bettered. Days like this, you hope they last an eternity”

Lana was born and raised in Belarus, a republic of the former Soviet Union. While studying psychology and languages in Grodno University she also took courses in art, encouraged by her passion for drawing and painting. She got a degree that would allow her to teach art in the public school system. Although an established artist, her love for art drives her to explore new and old art forms. Her paintings are bright and uplifting and often inspire deep thought. Lana resides in the mountains of North Carolina where she creates her art and home schools her two daughters. Her work can be found in private collections in Canada, the USA and overseas.
