That moment when you're on the beach, and you see huge, ominous clouds creeping towards you. All the while, the sun continues to peek through and you decide to risk it...
I am a traveler at heart, and I try to spend as much time as possible reaching the far corners of the earth to be inspired by the awesome beauty that's out there. My paintings are a reflection of photos I've taken that capture my glimpse into "the other side." I aim for my artwork to reach and beg contemplation of the thin veil that connects this material world to the ethereal. Whether abstract or landscape, I aim for a sense and feeling of crossing over. I've painted my entire life and earned two master's degrees in psychology. I am self-taught, though I've dedicated as much time to studying art as I did to both degrees!
