Ready to Hang

My abstract art is inspired by the beautiful flowing forms found in nature. . . The rock formations of the Colorado Badlands. . . . .The underwater panoply of sea-kelp and anemone . . . . . The furious and violent flow of molten lava . . . . The shifting, blowing sands of an ocean shore . . . . the marbled textures of natural granite. . . or the stark, cratered surface of the Moon. I can get lost for hours in contemplation and meditation as I look at these images . . . . and I hope you enjoy them as well :)
These works of art are created with Acrylic paints. I use fluid pours, drizzles, splatters, and drips of paint to create the effects you see here. Each painting is unique and and impossible to duplicate. You can be assured that the painting you purchase is a one-of-a-kind original!

This painting is on heavy duty gallery wrapped back stapled canvas. The image wraps around all 4 sides of the canvas, making it suitable to hang as is, or to be framed if you choose. The painting is finished with a glossy UV protectant coating, which brings out the vibrant colors and will help to keep the painting from fading over the years. I do not pre-wire these paintings so that you can choose which orientation you wish to display them in. They are light enough to be easily hung with push pins or a few small nails without the need for wire or hardware.

My name is Kevin Wilber, and I am a musician and artist in the Seattle, WA area. Having experimented with several different art mediums over the years (Spray Paint Art, Pencil, Pen and Ink) I have begun a new exploration into the world of Abstract with Acrylics on canvas, I find the act of painting to be exciting and soothing at the same time, even though that sounds contradictory! Each painting is a journey of discovery as the final image is in the process of being revealed and created, and yet the act of creating beautiful images is also very cathartic and brings a sense of peace and joy. I hope that you enjoy these paintings and that they bring you as much joy to behold as they did for me to create :)
