Ready to Hang
When ocean waves crash at the shoreline, they churn up the sand on the seafloor into a beautiful moving chaos. As one wave rolls in it crashes as the previous wave gets sucked back into the sea. This never ending dance is what inspired this piece. I have had people say it reminds them of tree bark, while others say they see dancing figures... that's the magic of abstract art, it challenges the subconscious and allows the viewer to interpret. This piece is multidirectional and can be hung horizontally or vertically in all four directions.
Have been painting for as long as I can remember. Studied Art and Interior Architecture at Virginia Commonwealth University. Worked in the Commercial Architecture Industry as a designer and manager. Painting is my passion. A part of my heart and soul is in each one of my pieces. I find inspiration in the beauty of nature and the colors found within. I hope you enjoy my work. Thanks for looking.
