I work preferably with a variety of mediums. From printmaking, acrylic, oil, watercolor, and found objects. My work tends to reflect the conflict between who we want to be and who we are. The masks that we put on in our daily lives to exist comfortably in the environments that we participate in. The dichotomy between our multiple selves and the transition we undergo moving from one to the other. I also work with creating sacred spaces, using old symbols in a new way to reflect modern morals and ideology.
My name is Kenzie De I live and work out Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I dabble in debauchery, I invest in crafting, I spend my time with my dog as much as possible, I seek the sunlight and do my best to stay up all night. I am a self proclaimed, self taught outdoor enthusiast and foodie. I use all of my experiences in my work the good the bad and the ugly. I prefer to stay suspended between the beautiful and the melancholy. Searching for the elements of light even in the darkest corners. I also am working on not taking myself too seriously :p You can also visit me on Kenziede.com Follow me on Instagram Kenziede801
