“It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.” ― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
"Art is more than just some colors on a page, a figure in a stance, or an image to make us go, "Aw". Art brings out the emotions of life where people are able to see outside their own lenses of focus. I truly believe art brings out the best in people. It allows them to step outside a comfort zone and experience life for out it should be lived. Full of color, beauty, and thought, my goal is to bring those emotions out with my art. If I am able to allow people to grow individually, just by viewing my art, my task will have been fulfilled. I want to be ready for moments to shine a light to children, adults, or strangers in this world smothered in black and white so they are able to see this world for how it should be seen."
I was born and raised in Cape Coral, Florida. I come from a long line of artists, but was the only one to pursue it as a career. My parents always told me that whatever I chose to do in life I should love it with all my heart. Life is too short to be wasted doing something you hate. At the age of nine I was diagnosed with an extremely rare heart disease called Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. After a successful surgery, life handed me a few more challenges as I was diagnosed with more heart related issues in which the only cure was a pace-maker. I am currently twenty-five years old and pace-maker FREE :) Doctors describing it as a miracle, my faith is what has protected me and carried me throughout this life. In addition to painting, I am a glass artist at a studio in West Palm Beach, Florida called Reflective Collections. While working their full time, I still do many freelance projects such as acrylic and watercolor paintings, steel and multimedia sculptures, and some kiln form glass. Life is so precious and I am thankful I am able to wake up everyday and make it more beautiful with art.
