Zen Reflections was inspired by someone I know who was looking for unique color mixtures, texture and zen symbols. There is depth, texture, color and much to look at on this piece. We have found ourselves looking at it for long periods and enjoying it truly. I hope you do as well. As with all paintings, I see many things in this painting, from ponds, to rocks, to lilliess, to ripples, to trees, and a shoreline, The cool part is it looks good turned all directions, even upside down!
My art is inspired by the beauty that surrounds me living in East Texas. Each day there is something beautiful to look at that leads me to create. I am not limiting my art mediums, as the idea of each piece is unique, from acrylic, to oil, to sand to copper. I tend to do more abstract, but am also enjoying the details of landscape and still life.
There is nothing more interesting to me than viewing another artists work and seeing the images that only I saw in it come out and I hope that you can also enjoy that in my work.
